I begin my mosaics by creating individual ceramic pieces that are inspired by nature and reflect my passion for color, texture, shapes, and patterns. These original pieces are merged wth shards of dishes, beads, buttons, and found objects that represent my life-long obsession with collecting and traveling. The magic happens when I combine these elements in a modified version of ‘pique-assiette’ to express my personal joy and wonder with the rich texture of life.
